Trying to get better

Hi I am a person who has changed to a healthier lifestyle within the last 3 years. I had high cholesteral, high blood pressure and I weighed 210 lbs. I made the change in lifesyle and lost the weight and changed how I ate. It has changed my life! I slide back and forth within 10 lbs and I would like to lose that weight. I would also like to really tone up.

Oh man...if thats the one with all the pushups, good luck! I remember the first day of that. I was like "You're kidding, right??" Haha. I love push ups though. They are my favorite exercise because it makes me feel all powerful and whatnot. Have fun! I took the day off and now I am going to go see the Kings Speech at the theater. It's supposed to be really great about overcoming really difficult things so I am hoping to be inspired!

Thanks for reading! P90X is tough but if you stick with it It's great. The yoga video and Plyo were hardest for me. I didn't make it all the way through the yoga video the first couple times. Good luck! I'm gunna add you up. Feel free to add me back. emoticon

Hi! Thank you for your words of encouragement! I really would like to know how you did it. Yes, I get so discouraged when I work hard and I don't see any results....like I want to see something. But then you sit there and say what's the point and fall into your old bad habits. I don't want to repeat that process. I too love to talk fitness, and I become kinda obsessed with it day by day. Please do share your food tips and workout regimen in which you saw some results. I have this "mother's apron" that looks horrible. I never like to wear nice clothes because my gut just topples over. Its really quite sad, when people continue to ask me if I'm pregnant. I always just feel like none of this fat is ever gonna go away. But I'm gonna stick with it....and surely, there has to be some change to be seen if I apply myself and work hard. emoticon
