I am doing this!

I am going to have lost 100 pounds around the time I turn 30! I will run and never look back!! Today is the first day of the rest of my life! (7/14/12) I WILL make it!!

-8/28/2012-Started training for my first 5k! Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Phoenix, October 14th 2012!
-9/5/12- Kidney stone surgery.
-10/14/2012 - Ran/Walked my VERY FIRST ...

-8/14/2012- Quit smoking!!
-8/28/2012-Started training for my first 5k! Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Phoenix, October 14th 2012!
-9/5/12- Kidney stone surgery.
-10/14/2012 - Ran/Walked my VERY FIRST 5k!! 1 hour and 3 minutes. 3.3 miles. 19:05 pace! Race for the Cure baybee!!
**10/21/2012 - I decided to start using my digital scale.. the dial scale is too hard to read!! This means I am 5.4 lbs above what I thought I was.. BUT That means I was heavier when I first started this journey... So I had to change a few weights here and there and my goal.

*** 12/14 - 4 month mark of not smoking :D EXCITING!!
---1/14 - 5th month of not smoking :)
--- 2/14 - 6th month of not smoking!!! :D

3/3 - Lost a bit of what I gained and lost and gained back. But now I am on the right track and in it for the long haul. We may fall every once in a while.. but we get RIGHT BACK UP AGAIN!!!

I have PCOS. My doctor is a nut and won't prescribe any meds for it other than birth control. Time for a new doctor!!! I am not going to let the PCOS control me, my health or my weight. I WILL CONTROL IT!

I think I have a lot more confidence in myself than most girls these days. I am very lucky. I used to have severe depression but I beat it with meds and a more positive outlook on life. On and off different meds since I was a teen.. But recently off the meds for about 2 years now and am doing WONDERFUL!

I also used to have anxiety disorder and panic attacks. Ever since I started my new career last year they have stopped altogether. I went through a time where I had to take very strong anti anxiety meds (effexor) and I found out they were just masking my bad and neutral feelings and I was on top of the world all the time, and that's no good. I weened myself off of them. It took a while to get back to happy and no panic attacks again. My job, friends and family helped out a lot.

My Goals:
I am 5'7". Starting weight - 278.4, Goal - 178 by Aug. 2013.. I eventually want to be in the "healthy" BMI range, which is 154 pounds! But my ultimate weight goal is 150.

*Short term goals *
-**DONE**Run my first 5k, the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Phoenix, October 14th 2012! **DONE (half walked half ran)**
-Finish 5k your way program.
-Run full 5k without stopping.
-Run in The Color Run 5k January 2013!*
-Run a 15 minute mile.
-Run a 12 minute mile.

*Larger, long term goals*
-Run a 10 minute mile.
-Run a 9 minute mile.
-Run an 8 minute mile.

-Run the zombie run "Run For Your Lives" next year or the year after (Should be around August 2013/14 sometime)

My Program:
-Exercise 5 days a week at least.
-5k your way program (I will start it back up once I get my shoes!!) - 3x per week. Cross train 2x per week (on days I don't run)- Elliptical, bike, swimming, or some type of aerobic class.
-7/28/212 - Started doing crunches, push ups and extra stretches (for about 15-20 mins). Doing this 3x/week.
-Track fitness in the fitness tracker.
-Counting calories, watching what I put into my body. (haven't counted calories in a month or so ish?)
-Watching sodium intake very closely. Trying for 1500mg apprx/day (harder than I thought!).
-Drink 10-12 glasses of water/day (due to kidney stones). Get as many veggies and fruits per day as I can!!
-Take vitamins/meds every day!

Hi I'm Brianna.. nice to meet you! I am 29, single (oh gawd how I love being single! most of the time lol) and have 2 adorable kitties (they are my children!).

I am originally from Washington state but in Aug. of 2007 I moved to Arizona to be with my best friend. The move has definitely been a life changing experience!

I am a fraud prevention analyst for a major bank. It is very interesting and tons of fun!

I love MMOs. I have played a couple here and there. Warhammer Online account is retured now. Playing GW2 now. It's great to sit back and blow the crap outta people..lol. It helps with stress :D

I love to read, write, draw, art/craft.

Other Information:
My motivation list-
1. This is a chance to learn new things!
2. The risk for Diabetes, high cholesterol, and heart attacks get WAY lower.
3. There is a chance that my PCOS will get a little better when I start losing weight and as I eat healthier.
4. I won't feel yucky, tired and lazy any longer!
5. Pinterest is AWESOME for daily motivators in the Fitness section!!
6. MUSIC, fast, upbeat, loud, positive music!
7. When I achieve and go beyond my goals, I will feel BAD ASS!

Hi! You should try going back on it, it will help with making you feel better! If you have too much sugar in your blood stream its screws up the rest of everything else! They have a new formula of it, that I am on now....Glumetza. It has less of the side effects and it's extedned release, so you only have to take it once a day. I'm feeling so much better!!! Go talk to a DR you trust, it makes a difference. You will find one you like....keep trying. Do it for YOU! emoticon xo
