I have a family of 5 & my goal is to make all members of my family healthy and if losing weight is a part of that so be it!
STEP 1-Buying whole foods that are organic-from my research I have learned that pesticides and chemicals are horrible!! I mean I knew that but really they are awful cancer causing demons out to steal my energy and natural processes in my body...I can defiantly do without them!
STEP 2-Cutting out the junk- by junk I mean hydrogenated soybean oil, corn syrup, & White foods (which includes white sugar and flour) I'm going by the motto "if its white its just not right!" I mean when have you ever seen a white apple or other food in nature?
STEP 3- Portion control- did you know that we should be using 8inch plates to serve our food on? In America we are using 12 inch plates and then wonder why we're fat...eating less is just better for you! I'm tossing out all of my china and collecting the right sizes...studies show that this works by tricking your brain into thinking your eating a BIG FULL plate because the edges of the plates aren't begging for more food.
Hey sorry i haven't been around in awhile, just wanted to let you know... that i have lost 10 pounds and my husband lost 30 pounds. I am losing it slow. but i think thats a good thing :) and I think chasing babies around helps.
