I collect hobbies for a living. I did MMA for a little over a year, rowing for a season, yoga for a stint, cross fit, aerial gymnastics, kettle bells, boot camps etc. I enjoy them all for a period of time. Currently I'm pretending to love to run. I did my first 1/2 marathon October 2015 on the hills of San Fran.

All I really want to do is enjoy my life more.

I've been on spark people for a looong time (years) but I haven't managed to stick with anything my weight is still a yo-yo. During my highs I can get over 160lbs at my healthy side I should be in the 130s and athletic would be 120s. I haven't seen 120s in maybe 8 years.

I'm afraid of summers. Every year. I lock myself inside until the cold weather starts up again and i can hide behind big coats and sweaters. If someone asks me to the river, a hike, swimming, etc I politely decline. My goal is to one day feel confident enough to actually be able to do stuff without worrying about being embarassed, wearing a bathing suit, not being able to keep up with healthier/active people, or looking as good as someone else. I thought for sure last summer would be the one. I was working out regularly had a personal trainer but I couldn't break 142. Now I'm at it again and I swear.... this will be "the one" !

My Program:
Calorie controlled eating reducing white flours, starches and sugars.

Goal weight loss program involves running... not sure yet. I haven't worked out since my 1/2 marathon in October.

    And one more idea--in addition to the ones on the message board--talk to a life coach or therapist who will help you look at your stresses and coping. it really can be helpful! Cause something's up, it sounds like!!

    I noticed you were allergic to wheat and dairy? I am allergic to wheat as well, and I am not allergic to dairy, but I am lactose intolerant...so I can't eat it either...

    I think I might need to try that Green and Black Dark Chocolate you were talking about in the "want chocolate" thread! I LOVE dark chocolate, but I needed an alternative. Thank you!

    We do have a lot in common! I run 11 minute miles but I'm working on getting closer to 10. I ran a 5k in 29:59!
