Consistantly Inconsistent

I collect hobbies for a living. I did MMA for a little over a year, rowing for a season, yoga for a stint, cross fit, aerial gymnastics, kettle bells, boot camps etc. I enjoy them all for a period of time. Currently I'm pretending to love to run. I did my first 1/2 marathon October 2015 on the hills of San Fran.

All I really want to do is enjoy my life more.

I've been on spark people for a looong time (years) but I haven't managed to stick with anything my weight ...

I've been on spark people for a looong time (years) but I haven't managed to stick with anything my weight is still a yo-yo. During my highs I can get over 160lbs at my healthy side I should be in the 130s and athletic would be 120s. I haven't seen 120s in maybe 8 years.

I'm afraid of summers. Every year. I lock myself inside until the cold weather starts up again and i can hide behind big coats and sweaters. If someone asks me to the river, a hike, swimming, etc I politely decline. My goal is to one day feel confident enough to actually be able to do stuff without worrying about being embarassed, wearing a bathing suit, not being able to keep up with healthier/active people, or looking as good as someone else. I thought for sure last summer would be the one. I was working out regularly had a personal trainer but I couldn't break 142. Now I'm at it again and I swear.... this will be "the one" !

Hello Daniellepyle- I am allergic to sulfites, too. I was exploring the eating clean team and ran across your thread input where you mentioned this condition.

Do we need to build a sulfite-free team? Should we call it something like Sulfite Soul fighters? This condition does go against the grain in that most doctors do not understand it and a major hospital stay would be required to even get tested for the serious potentially anaphylactic shock prone issue. It is hidden in beautiful whole foods that are never touched by an additive or a preservative.

I personally find out by deliberately causing my self pain just to explore my reactions; using the rotation/elimination diet. Trial and error is the only way to ensure a pain caused by sulfite infiltration via health and beauty products, medicines, and whole foods does not affect my day with discomfort. I stopped eating processed foods, now I am exploring other consumables and I can not find so many answers to so many questions. Not even my professional team of nutritionist can answer them.

That sounds really awesome! I'm really glad you can get some ideas from my food log, I am pretty creative with my meals mostly and have tons of ideas so if you ever get in a food rut, I can give you some great ideas and send some recipes your way!

aww they're precious, i especially love those basket pictures. kittens in baskets is one of my all time favorite things.
yeah, i had seen you struggle for a while there and i'm feeling very inspired by your turn around. things are changing for me anyway.. i just put in noice to leave my job today. :D emoticon
