I AM DOING IT!

I am a 30 year old mother of a beautiful 4 year old daughter and a wife to a wonderful husband. I finally got tired of being fat! My weight was just getting higher. Having a job where I sit all day and spend 3 hours a day driving didn't help matters. Summer months seemed to be getting worse with the heat and added weight made me miserable. I am a 30 year old mother of a beautiful 4 year old daughter and a wife to a wonderful husband. I finally got tired of being fat! My weight was just getting higher. Having a job where I sit all day and spend 3 hours a day driving didn't help matters. Summer months seemed to be getting worse with the heat and added weight made me miserable. I noticed that climbing the stairs at work became a little more difficult for me and keeping up with my daughter was the closest thing to exercise. Being only 5 feet tall, 245 pounds was getting hard to carry around. I finally got serious last Holloween when my friend and neighbor invited me to a zumba class (LOVED IT!!) and we started walking when we were not able to do zumba. Then in January I decided to go see a doctor for phentermine to help me control my appetite. I still eat everything that I did before just in moderation and now when I don't take them and do eat, I get full a lot faster and know when to stop eating. I am happy with my progress so far and can't wait to get to my goal weight. Anyone who has been on any kind of "diet" knows that it really doesn't matter how you get to your goal, its how you are going maintain it. That will be the real challenge.

Wearing a swimsuit to a waterpark instead of jean shorts and a t-shirt!

My Program:
Eating between 1200 & 1500 calories and day, Zumba two nights a week, and walking or doing something other then sitting on my butt. I do enough of that at work.
