A Better Me

I'm a 27 year old part-time occupational therapist and full time mother of 2. I've always struggled with my weight. In 2011, SparkPeople helped me lose 45 pounds after the birth of my daughter... and I allowed my second pregnancy to be my excuse to revert to old eating and exercise habits. Time to start over!

My Goals:
Overall:
1. Get out of these darn maternity clothes (and back into my pre-pregnancy jeans).
2. Workout in the mornings at least 3 days a week.
3. Start the 5K Your Way program (again).
4. Have more energy for my own kiddos... and not be that mom on the sidelines.
Fitness:
1. To COMFORTABLY walk for 1 hour (I currently take a 1 hour walk occasionally, but I can't say it's very comfortable)
2. To be able to run a full mile.
3. To run a 5K next year (with some walking...?)

thanks for the comment on my blog! i have read 1 dave ramsey book and half of total money makeover. i am trying to adapt to his babysteps, but first i have to catch up with all the bills i'm behind on. i call this babystep negative 1. i know once i'm out of debt, or even get rid of a chunk of it i'll be able to lose weight just because the stress will be reduced and i'll have more money to budget into my food allowance. right now everything is just stretched too tight.
