Hello, my name is Tracy and I completely appreciate and love Sparkpeople! This is a great tool to help us all get on track we just need to do it and maintain some self-control. I saw that they have an iPhone app and as soon as they work out some tweeks....I'm on it! Lol. I started this in 2007 and it worked great for me. I lost about 30 lbs with this free website after my 2nd child and just really consider it a God send.

Today I have about 15 lbs or so that I want to lose. I am ...

So...here I am!

I love my life because I have a close relationship with the Lord. He's opened my eyes to my foolish ways and I try to lean completely on Him.

Good for you, asking for encouragement when you need it instead of just hiding and feeling defeated! This isn't a "Once and Done" journey -- so be thankful that you DID IT once, and you can do it again! Remember how much better you felt before you gained those 15 pounds back? God is good and gives you fresh starts -- so start fresh! Lysa TerKeurst says in Made to Crave: "The most important decision you have is the NEXT one!" I saw this great definition of Discipline: "Discipline is choosing what you want MOST instead of what you want NOW". God bless you as you continue your Journey to Health!!

Welcome to Colorado Christian Women Team ... get to know the other active gals and be part of the encouragement going around!

You are absolutely gorgeous! (just had to say that)

I do have issues with my knees, and I recently saw a sports med doctor about it. He suggested running on the treadmill as much as possible, because it's easier on my joints. I noticed a huge difference when I started running on the treadmill! I still do my long runs out side, but my shorter ones are on the treadmill now. It's boring, but it is helping my knees, it's worth it :) The doctor told me that asphalt is better than concrete, a track is better than asphalt, and a treadmill is better than a track as far as my joints go.

Hope this answers your question!
