We too were shocked that not many people have central air/AC here. I've been here since 2005. I can't say I'm used to that yet!!
P.S. I grew up in northern Michigan (lower peninsula), Skidway Lake/West Branch. As soon as I had the ability, I moved south to civilization (Ann Arbor). I really miss that town! But they can keep the bitter cold winters! 889 days ago
Thanks for the kind comment on my blog yesterday
Yeah I don't really bring the guitar thing up as I can't actually play lol. I know a few chords and use them to make an unholy racket So if anyone asks I always say I 'pretend' to play guitar lol, I'm sure your far more advanced than I. It's a great hobby though I do love it.
well in that case I'll take lots and lots of pics to share! I warn you though I'm not the best photographer but I'll do my best lol
I'm really looking forward to it, and yeah the cathedral is pretty stunning both day and night. It's the first thing you see when you come into the city by train or coach as it's right up on a hill overlooking the whole town; see the spires and you know you've arrived. They even still have cobbled streets and windy passages that make you feel like you're going back into olde England (there's a section near tower bridge that's like this and is my favourite place in London). Lovely place and my family are very happy there.
