Big personal challenge: not letting winter in Wisconsin get me down. Gotta exercise MORE no matter how much I want to hybernate.

Currently in maintenance and tone-up mode. I lost 20 pounds January to May of '08 from working out and calorie shifting and getting support here.

I went climbing up a wind tower for a safety class and then finally worked up the nerve to do rope climbing in a climbing gym. Wish grown-ups could climb trees without somebody getting "concerned"!

I love to be here on sparkpeople to get inspired, to offer support, to make some friends, and to remember that people are generally good and even amazing.

Hey Carol, how are you? What's up in the energy world? Have you been getting any sunshine in on these cold days?

I lost a pound, but then had a wild food day today with a potluck at work. Whew. Back on the bandwagon starting this minute.

Happy New Year and thanks for the snowman! I haven't really been doing much Sparking. I just read the article 2 steps forward and and 1 step back. Wish I would have read it a month ago. It said exactly what I needed to hear. Lesson Learned. emoticon
