I am 29 with 2 great highly ACTIVE boys. I love them and my husband more than anything. I took me forever to realize I loved them and didn't care about myself. I finally realized that it is easier to care about others when you care about yourself first.

For our ancestors PAIN was a lion in the bushes, waiting to eat us.
To stay alive, we avoided pain.

Today we still want the easy, painless way...the magic diet pill,
the get rich scheme, six pack abs... today, not next year.

Move toward the Pain.

Do that last rep that makes your knees shake. Control your calories,
Keep going despite all obstacles.

The pain you experience, the voice in your head telling you to quit, is an antiquated
survival mechanism that's as useful as a spear against a machine gun.
