How I want to look this summer!!

I feel like the best way to change my life is to take it one day at a time, one meal at a time, one workout at a time. My best advice for staying on track with working out is...Put your workout gear on and press play. If after 5 minutes you still don't feel like doing it you can quit for the day.

Weight loss has been a constant battle for me throughout my life. I was always the pudgy kid through school. However, unlike other kids that battled weight, I don't remember being teased that much. The heart break always came when I would go clothes shopping for back to school and could not fit into any of the cute clothes my friends were wearing. As a 33 year old mother of an 8 year old with special needs, I try to stay healthy to keep up with the stresses of being a single parent. I get up at 5am to workout and I'm usually dragging, but it's my hour of the day for just me!

I've been on various diets throughout my life and have been miserable. I try to eat as healthy as possible, but allow myself what I crave in small doses. If I don't, I will binge and ruin what I have worked so hard for.

I love Turbo Jam and have seen changes in my body that I haven't seen with any other workout. I look forward to getting up in the morning and feeling great! Chalene is so motivating and hope to one day meet her. She is such an inspiration to me!

11/3 Starting Over!!
I've had a rough patch. I'm trying to get back on track. I'm going to start over and start slow. My goal for the week of November 3-November 9 is to get back to drinking 8 glasses of water a day and workout every day. I plan to strength train Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Cardio will be on alternating days. Sunday will a "free choice" day!

11/10 Weight Gain!
Darn! I'm not suprised! I had a horrible weekend. I was extremely depressed and ate the whole weekend. So I weighed myself this morning and got my work out in!

01/05-Official Start of ChaLean Extreme! It's going to be tough but I'm up for the challenge. I'm going to take day at a time.

01/22-Day 14 I feel like my mindset is changing! Chalene talks about viewing food as fuel and I'm finally coming around to that concept. I have not gorged myself this week and the weight is coming back off! I'm looking forward to the Push phase and hope to see major results!
