Workin' It Out!

I'm a kindergarten teacher who is tired of being asked by her students if she's going to have a baby!

When I started my journey I kept getting told by people that I don't "look like you need to lose weight." I tell people that's just because they don't see me naked. Truthfully, I have learned to dress to hide my problem areas, but I am the one who has to look at me when there are no clothes to hide the way I look. Frankly, I am tired of looking into the mirror and wanting to cry. ...

It's not about how other people view me, it's how I view myself. I remember being in college and being thin, but more than that FEELING sexy and attractive. That's what I really miss and want to get back to. And I don't want to just get back to my former size, I want to look BETTER than I did before, because now I know about strength training and healthy food portions!

Also, be my friend :)

My Goals:
To leap tall buildings in a single bound, to fight for truth, justice, and the American way, and to stop evil right where it stands! Or at least to fit into my skinny jeans.

My Program:
I purchased the Biggest Loser Power Sculpt and Cardio Max on a whim, which has sent me on a crazy course of physical activity and a desire to be healthier. I did 4-5 sessions a week, alternating the dvds. I have already completed the maximum results 6 week challenge, and lost 11 pounds.

I just bought 30 Day Shred and have been doing that almost daily 5 times a week.

I also try to keep my calories around 1400-1500 a day.

Personal Information:
Originally from Ohio, living in Boston with my husband, Chris, my cat, Shad, and my dog, Punkin.

***UPDATE 5/16/09:

Thanks and good luck to you too! Job hunting is no fun but I'm trying to look at it as an opportunity. My last job as a nanny was fun but not the best pay, no benefits, and obviously no room for growth. So now that I am forced to look for something else maybe I can find something a little better, and something that I will actually use my degree towards.
