Lest I Forget...
Once I lose weight, I always forget the struggle of having been overweight and gain it all back. Once I lose weight, I always forget the struggle of having been overweight and gain it all back. I make short-term changes to drop pounds as quickly as possible and then I end up gaining it back and more within 6 months. Last year, I lost about 20 pounds in January and by October I weighed more than ever! This time around I am starting out with the intention of changing the bad habits I have. For the most part, I eat very well. I have been a vegetarian for over ten years, eat a lot of healthy foods and whole grains and I look younger now than I did ten years ago. However my big problem is sugar. Once I get some sugar in my system it makes me crave more and more. It has gotten out of control this year. When I stepped on the scale and saw that I was within 13 pounds of weighing 200 pounds, I decided something needed to change. I realize the awesome responsiblity God has given me to serve Him and take care of the temple He has given me. There are so many things that I should be doing for Christ but my weight holds me back. If I truly want to be balanced in all things, including my relationship with Christ, I have to be healthy physically. And the Bible says that we are all slaves to anything that rules over us. Romans 6:16. I refuse to let food - especially sugar - be my God. So here I am. Starting out with humility to know that I can't do this alone and still determined to succeed. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Philippians 4:13

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 25 pounds and to get really toned.
My Program:
I have been sticking to my calorie guidelines, drinking water and logging everything into Spark. I have fallen behind in exercising but I'm trying to use my gym membership at the very least twice a week and workout at home the rest of the time.
Personal Information:
I'm a Seventh-day Adventist Christian and a vegetarian. I am a part of the praise team at my church and I love to sing. I love to travel and I hope to go on at least 4 trips this year.
Other Information:
I have alot of different interests and eclectic music and movie tastes. One of my favorite books apart from the Bible is "The Road Less Traveled"
