Welcome to my Spark Page. I'm Dana and I'm ready for a change. I've been down this road before and was successful. Unfortunately, I let myself regain the weight I had lost. Now I want to have a healthy lifestyle and become more active. I want to be able to enjoy life with my husband, children and granddaughter who was born on May 30. I plan to be around for a long time to watch Claire grow up.

My Program:
Summer 5% Challenge Commitment:

8 weeks = 8 lbs

1. Exercise for 45-60 minutes everyday for the next 56 days by: running 4x week, cross training 2x week, walking on rest day. Work core and upper body 3x week.

2. Follow Bob Harper's The Skinny Rules limiting calories to 1200-1400 daily eating as clean as possible. Increase fruit and veggie intake to at least 7 per day.

3. Check in with Team members daily and post to discussion board everyday.

4. Read and comment on blogs as much as possible offering support and encouragement.

Personal Information:
I turned 51 this year and have really felt the effects of growing older. I am married to my best friend for 27 years. I have 3 wonderful grown children. My daughter (ESKAMO2) and son-in-law live in NY (a long way from TX). My son lives with us in Dallas. I have a beautiful granddaughter named Claire. She is my new inspiration.
