I am going to more mindful of my eating habits. I am going to now to be able to tell the difference between mental hunger and physical hunger to stop emotional eating. To stay within my calorie goals I am going to carefully read food labels. the things I want to see on the label are as follows: Less than 10 grams of fat per serving, less than 500 milligrams of sodium per serving, never any trans fats, and at least 3 grams of fiber per serving. I learned many years ago that every 3,500 calories equals one pound. I plan to cut back at least 250 calories per day and exercise to burn at least 250 calories . This should result in a healthy weight loss of between 1 - 2 pounds per week. No more losing the weight and regaining it.

Track all of my food
Keep a journal

Personal Information:
I am a dog lover, I have three Siberian Huskies. My first Siberian Dakota passed away last October. We have a puppy named Shiloh, a Husky, as well as the two others I have had for a while. Love the breed. I am married with two sons ages 20 and 27. I live in Massachusetts as I have most of my life. I love strength training , but also do cardio everyday.
I love my gym. I like gardening, cooking healthy, walks with my huskies, and various arts and crafts. I also love to read.

Other Information:
I love listening to Green Day, The Fray, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, and many more. I blast the music while cleaning my house. I have my iPod ready for my workouts. My son downloaded some of my favorite CDs. Must have my music to keep me working out.

That positive attitude is what helps most of us reach our goals and enjoy the journey while getting there. No matter how long that journey takes or how daunting it sometimes seems.
