I am a 38 year old, mother of 2 totally awesome kids and wife, of 12 years, to the best husband a woman could have who has steadily been gaining weight for the last 10 years. I haven't had self esteem or confidence issues since I married my husband who has always been ok with the way my body looked. I have just become too complacent with the fact that he loves me no matter what and I let myself go. I am tired of getting bigger every year and am ready to finally change for the better. I am ready to be sexy, confident and a smaller size.
- Lose 10 pounds by January 31 (not accomplished)
- Hit the 40 pound mark (goal reached)
- Get my tattoo (too chicken)
- finish the New You Boot Camp (goal interrupted by knee, again)
- to be healthier
- to wear smaller clothes
- to want to be photographed
- to be able to run again
- to look good in a bathing suit
I have only 2 rewards planned for myself at this time. At 40 pounds lost I plan to get my first ever tattoo. And when I reach my end goal, my husband and I are planning to rent a couple of Harleys and ride for the weekend.
I am rededicated to walking everyday for at least 20 minutes.
I am refocused on my goal of 40 pounds to get my tattoo.
I am recommitted to my program and myself.
The 4 Most Important Words...ever
BELIEVE - the most pwerful word there is, if you don't believe, nothing is possible.
RESPECT - have respect for yourself and others
RESPONSIBILITY - make the right choices
ACCOUNTABILITY - if you do it, good or bad, own up to it
Goals are easy for me to make, tough for me to stick to.
Goals for 2009:
1. Get my daycare license to work at home
2. Lose 50 (total) pounds for the year - broken into smaller increments thru-out each month
3. STAY motivated and on track
4. Stick to my program as closely as possible (but not beat myself up too badly if I stray a little)
I can't wait for 2009 to start - I think it's gonna be a great year!!!
Mon, Wed, Fri - cardio - walk 2 miles / ST - lower body and abs
Tues, Thurs, Sat - cardio - walk 2 miles / ST - upper body and stability ball
Sun - cardio - walk / ST - rest
