I am turning 50 in december, did i say 50? I for the last 20 years have struggled with obesity. I'm a Cardiovascular nurse and work with open heart patients ans sometimes feel like a fraud teaching my patents. I have horses that I would like to be more active with and feel like this has got to change. I lost 80 lbs 3 years ago had a riding accident and had a major depression set in and let the weight pile back on.
I used to be quite active in my 20'S. i actually was a woman marine for 6 years and though I would not say i loved it, it kept me in shape in actually shaped me to be the nurse I am today.
Then I married the love of my life and had 3 children. My youngest being autistic and a handful but I adore her but over the years put stress on me which I took in the comfort of food of my southern heritage. I became a nurse because it ran in my family and because I thought with my kids I needed a job i could arrange around them. My stressful job just added to it, nurses are known for bringing in things to share that are not healthy and the weight piled on.

Okay I've hit rock bottom I am at my highest weight ever at 255 I have over 100lbs to lose to be considered in the normal range I plan on trying clean eating again, tried it last year and got very frustrated because I did not read the book and had a lot of new changes in my life(new job, unemployed spouse).
I will report my weight, exercise 4-5 times a week in some form for 45 min.
I realize I don't care if i fit into a single digit jean anymore, I just want to feel better. My knees are bad, I have plantar fascitiatis and feel fatigue all the time. I recently had a checkup and all I heard is "Lose some weight" Beleive me doctor I know what I need to do, it's finding the motivation and my"give a damn again"
Okay the" give a damn" is making an appearance or i would not be here or read "clean eating" so I guess I just need to tell my self that I am worth it!
One goal i have made with my daughter s doing a fun walk or 5k. it all depends where I am physically in feb. m ore to update later.

I am going to be within a healthy range before 2012. I plan on following a eat clean lifestyle and exercse 4-5 days a week.
