    What holds you back from being and doing more? In your journal, list what you believe is holding you back.

    Have you blamed people or factors outside of yourself? It's important to understand that ALL problems are rooted inside us. Even the blocks that appear to be outside of us are only reflecting back an issue we have inside that we have not yet owned. Once we address our inner issue, the outer situation no longer troubles us.

    The buck always stops with us. We step into our power when we accept responsibility for our lives.

    Roger Dawon once said - The most self-destructive thought that any person can have is thinking that he or she is not in total control of his or her life. That's when, ‘Why me?’ becomes a theme song.

    Today make the choice to Seek the inner cause of problems

    Too many times people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more material things or money, in order to do more of what they want so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the
    reverse. You must first BE who you really are, then DO what you love to do, in order to HAVE what you want.

    The formula for success is first Be, then Do, then Have. If our material abundance reflects the quality of our BEING, then how much do we focus on what we are actually DOING? As with everything in life, it’s a matter of balance.

    How do we keep our inner fire alive? 2 things, at minimum, are needed: an ability to appreciate the positives in our life – and a commitment to action. Every day, it’s important to ask and answer these questions: ‘What’s good in my life?’ and ‘What needs to be done’?

    Your challenge is to find what works for you! Review the literature but make your own decisions. To do this, you’ll need to:

    1. Get to know yourself -- your desires and passions, rhythms, styles, challenges, needs and habits.

    2. Be aware that you always have choice. Claim your independence and power to choose what is right for your life, moment by moment.
