Quitting is NOT an option

I am glad to be back on track. I had previously lost my weight and maintained it for some time. I have recently gone through some trying medical challenges, gained some of the previously lost weight. I have now been cleared by the docs and am eager to kick it in gear.

My Goals:
I want to feel good in my clothes again. I want to be able to be the physically and mentally strong.

My Program:
I have been keeping a food journal along with my physical activities. I have found writing out my feelings has been quite helpful, it releases some of the anxiety.

Personal Information:
I am from the good state of SC. I have always been this strong/independt person and an illness came from no where, kicked me in the shin and most definitely gave me a reality check on what is truly important.
God is first in my life, was before I ever knew about my illness. My family is second and then Uncle Sam. He has been signing my paychecks for thirteen years. God willing; I will be able to retire in seven years with good mental and physical health.
I know that God throws challenges our way and when we survive them we only become stronger and closer to him.
I have two of the sweetest dogs ever; Roscoe and Isabelle. They are beyond spoiled.......

Other Information:
Well, not sure if I should..It appears that I wrote quite a synopsis above.
I am a simpleton really. It doesn't take a lot to make me happy.
I love the outdoors, (well, not in the middle of July). I like to read, I'd have to say my favorite author is Wilbur Smith, although I read pretty much whatever is lying around. I love a good comedy. I feel we don't laugh enough.
Again, just a simpleton.
