I'm an RN on a geropsych unit and I need to be in relatively decent shape to take care of my patients, my home and yard. I joined SparkPeople (thanks, Annlea!) to help me with this, as I've been having a little trouble maintaining my weight loss on my own. A little more exercise wouldn't kill me, either!

My Goals:
Five years ago I lost 30 pounds on a low carb diet and I have kept it off - mostly - but in the past year it's gotten more difficult to stay motivated to maintain my weight in a healthy range and stay away from the junk food. I joined SparkPeople to help me stay motivated to exercise and make better food choices. I've lost even more weight since joining SparkPeople and am exercising more now, too. My current goals are to continue developing my strength-training program and to maintain my weight between 100-110 lbs.
My Program:
I'm continuing with a low carb diet, doing cardio exercise 6-7 days a week, and gradually adding strength-training to my exercise routine.
Personal Information:
I live in the Chicago area and I work in behavioral health.
