The best day is today
I am very close to my goal weight. My New Year's Resolution last year was to get to that goal. If I keep up my current pace, I'll be there in a month. I've decided to change my goal a little. I don't know if my new number is realistic, but I want to try. So, this year's resolution is to either get to my new goal or determine the weight that works for me and stay there. I will not beat myself up if I slip, but I will acknowledge that my body needs proper nutrition and exercise to stay ...

I will not beat myself up if I slip, but I will acknowledge that my body needs proper nutrition and exercise to stay healthy. I also want to get back in shape to run a 5K or longer this year. My Goals:
I know all the rules for eating healthy. Now I just need to follow them. I travel for work so I need to concentrate on my eating out skills.
My Program:
Besides logging everything I eat and all the exercise I do, I will be planning my meals. I'm the type who plans at the beginning of the week and gets off track later in the week. I need to keep myself honest all week long.
Personal Information:
I live in Northeast Florida between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Cysco, my kitty, allows me to live with her - mostly because I feed her and don't bother her too much. I love to cook - especially trying new recipes. I also enjoy outdoor activities like camping and kayaking. I always have a book with me.
Other Information:
Goals by February 1: BMI - 22.6% Fat % - 30% (I want this lower, but I also want a realistic goal) Weight - 140 Lose 4 inches total in my measured areas. Reward: If I stay within 2 lbs of my goal through September, I'll take another long cruise in December.
