I Got Myself Here and I Will Get Myself Out!

So many excuses have been used, and so much time has been wasted feeling sad or guilty, but I will not allow myself to be a victim anymore. I need to stop blaming other people and things that I cannot control, e.g. genetics, and start focusing on what I can do, and how I CAN change. I decide what I eat and when I exercise. I will make better choices.

So many excuses have been used, and so much time has been wasted feeling sad or guilty, but I will not allow myself to be a victim anymore. I need to stop blaming other people and things that I cannot control, e.g. genetics, and start focusing on what I can do, and how I CAN change. I decide what I eat and when I exercise. I will make better choices.

It has been a lot of ups and downs, but I am now heavier than I have ever been in my life. Time to make a change! I am uncomfortable, unhappy, and my clothes don't fit the way the used to, and not in the good way.

I will make small goals and work towards over all big progress! I have about 95 pounds to lose, but that seems impossible. Instead I am focusing on 25 pounds by February 14, 2013. I have not special person in my life right now, but 25 lighter would make me more confident in finding that "special" person.

My Goals:
Gym three days per week.

Alcohol three days per week only.

Pack lunches for work 5 days per week.

My Program:
Short term goals!

I don't seem to do well with grandiose plans or lots of change at once. I can't seem to stick with it for long because that BIG number is TOO large!

GO TO THE GYM!
I have a membership, I need to use it.

Track Food!
I need to track my food to make sure I'm staying within my limits!

Limit Alcohol
I LOVE wine, I would drink a glass or two of wine every night, but I know that hurts my weightloss.

Limit Processed Foods
I know these foods are full of bad things (preservatives, chemicals, unnatural oils, ect). It is obvious that it is better to eat foods without them. I am making my own soup stocks, eating fruits, veggies, and meats.

Personal Information:
I have a wonderful daughter who helps to challenge me everyday. To achieve my goals I am focused on readjusting my outlook and attitudes.

I saw your post on the boards about the lady with her 3 grown daughters at home with no jobs and not picking up - your story is amazing and I'm so proud of you even without knowing you...congrats!
