I am 41 years old. A mother of two wonderful boys. About two years ago I decided to have a lap band done. Since my insurance required a six month supervised weight loss program with the doctor my Husband and I decided to go for it. We bought the hip hop abs and started exercising and watching what we ate. As we continued to do this we started picking healthier alternatives to things that we already eat. We also started riding bikes we started out probably like 2 miles a day and about died, I am proud to say now that every time we ride we at least go 20 miles and I have made it 40 miles. As we started this I discovered that I CAN DO IT so I decided that instead of the lap band I would keep on plugging away. I am now down 70 pounds with about 100 to go for my goal. Had a few set backs lately due to some injuries, but I'm back strong and ready to get the next 100 pounds off!

My Goals:
To lose 100 more pounds and to do that I am breaking it off in sections so I don't get overwhelmed.

I also want to be able to do a triathlon with my husband.


My Program:
I am doing workout videos from home. I started with Hip Hop Abs and now I am doing the Jillian Michaels workouts. I ride my bike at least 20 miles a day no less than 4 times a week.

I also joined a gym and use the eliptical machine and the stationary bikes until the weather gets warmer to ride again.

Using the weights to tone up the flabby areas.
