2017 and I am looking to shape up and take off 20 pounds by my birthday, November 18, when I will be 60.

The 16 pounds that came off in 2016, have helped a bit, but oh, that right hip is giving me fits!

Sitting more with a combination of, additional computer work to add to my landscaping duties, being a part time caregiver for my sweet 92 year old Mama and still not back to where my activity level was, before grief took over and grounded me, when my oldest son, passed away, May 18 2014.



Well, I know what the problem is and knowing is half the battle, so GI Joe says.On to a plan, written with a date and off I go with my spark buddies, down the spark trail to better, health.

I am from a close family with strong values, full of traditions and respect for our heritage.
I believe in Jesus Christ, in everlasting life, in Heaven.
I have three children, my oldest son in Heaven, my other son and daughter live nearby.
I have a cat named Tigger who is my comforter.
I am a gardener/landscaper by trade.


Other Information:
I love plants, animals, books, history, music, painting, all nature and spending time with family.
My family and I walk, each year in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Richmond, Out of the Darkness Walk, to honor my son Kenny, who died in 2014 and to raise funds for research, education and to reduce the number of suicides as well as erase the stigma associated with suicide and mental illness. Kenny's Waking Warriors is a big part of my life.
I know that Kenny is closer than I think, and I will see him again.
