Hi. I am truly working on a healthier and thinner me. I have numerous physical problems which make the process more of a challenge, but I am not letting that stop me.

I've been heavy since I was 6 years old and have tried almost every diet in any women's magazine and then some. What I have learned is that al the ads for fast weight loss are enticing, but if I don't change the way I think and feel about food, there is no point to the process. So, I've been on a journey to a healthier lifestyle for 20 years and have made a lot of progress. It is easier to choose healthy foods over those high-fat foods more and more frequently. So I know that I will reach my goals.

My plan is to keep putting one foot in front of the other--so to speak--for it isn't how fast that I reach my goal, but the fact that I am progressing towards it that is important.

My Goals:
My huge goal is to get and stay mobile and healthy enough to enjoy life and enjoy my grandchildren.

My Program:
For many years I'd been working out with a trainer at a small gym. This past year due to many excuses, I eventually got where I wasn't going to the gym at all. So, over Christmas break I had a serious talk with myself and am back working out again as much as I have time for each week with no excuses.

I'm also going to WW and watching my portion sizes and what I decide to put in my mouth. Every day I work at eating a healthy balanced meal plan.
