I need to lose 19 lbs. to get into my wardrobe. I will reacess at that time. Long range goal would be to lose 35 lbs. and be toned.
Presently I go to the Y 3-4x a week, jump on the Elliptical machine 15 minutes, do the core machines, work up a good sweat and cool down on the treadmill. This takes 45 minutes. While on the elliptical trainer I push hard in intervals.
I'm widowed and retired. Pursuing a new career in writing, specifically movie screenplays. Love that. I'm a great grandmother and have 10 grandchildren.
I learned a lot about what my body responds to when I lost 40 lbs. 4 years ago. The weight lifting makes all the difference for me.

Thanks so much for your comment on my blog. I have just started to do a water aerobics class at my gym. I was so afraid of water that I broke out in hives the first time I got in the pool but now I really enjoy the class. I love finding fun things to do, especially with friends. Have a great day!
No. not on facebook. Haircut is a bob with some short bangs. The back grows faster than the sides. I like it. Used to wear it like this when I was 15.
Got a beige summer cotton lace dress and flowered jacket. Got a jade green tank to wear with a geo print blk & white pencil skirt and very lightweight black summer sweater. I had some great looking Black & white jewelry that spices it up together and a green leather hobo bag. Sleeveless black eyelet top to also wear with the pencil skirt, a classy white sleeveless collared shirt to go with many things and a ivory shell with little clear sequins sewn all down the front. All of these new things are better quality than I have had in a long time. Mom wants to talk with Kadi's mother and was asking me to get the phone number. She wants to do that "in the future" for herself. Made her own mind up about that. I just listen. I can feel deeper layers of muscle developing. I am getting stronger.
