Wow! It's been a while since I've been on SparkPeople!...I actually got up to 137.5 lbs. after I got a bulging disc in my neck and couldn't exercise - not even walk - without numbness and tingling in my right hand and arm. Fortunately, my Dr. referred me to a magician of a physical therapist and 6 months later I was back to normal...just heavier...;-] I started walking and playing golf again, but the weight didn't come off - and I believe the hormones I was taking was a factor.
I finally changed my eating program when I developed vertigo and lost my appetite due to the dizziness...I wouldn't recommend this method, but what I discovered as a result is that I reduced my portions and was satisfied. I eat yogurt with nuts and granola for breakfast, some sort of protein for lunch (maybe leafy greens and tuna salad), and fish with veggies and salad for dinner - and I've cut out late night snacks ever since we got a new cat...I'd rather watch her and knit than eat while watching TV! I usually have a snack of light string cheese with WASA bread and some almonds and green tea around 4:00 pm since we don't eat dinner till quite late (my husband's work and workout schedule - and he's in great shape!) Anyway, I'm back to 130.5-131.5 and feel great - and have decided I don't need to weight 129 lbs... 2439 days ago
