My Goals:
My goal is to learn a new way of life. This is not just getting to a finish line. Through this journey I'm learning how and why I got to the weight I was. I'm stripping (yeah baby!) - peeling off, layer by layer, the emotional baggage that got me to nearly 300 pounds. Unlike diets I have been on in the past, my journey with Spark is not based on all or nothing: success or failure - going up on the scale and throwing in the towel. Instead, I'm treating this like a graph - with the overall trend going downwards. I'm rewarding myself with a trip when I reach my goal. I still have a few months to figure out the destination, but somewhere 75,000 frequent flyer miles will take me!
My Program:
I try to keep breakfast and lunch very similar every day and leave dinner as my wild card. That way it's hard to go off the rails too much when 2/3s of your day has been good. I strength train twice a week and do 45 minutes of cardio 4 times/week.
