At it Again

My name is Sara. I'm a 31-year-old SAHM of 4 kids, ages baby to 7. My baby is 4 months old, so it's time to hit it again. I got into decent shape last spring before I got pregnant, but I'm back where I started again and want to get there and beyond this time. I want to feel confident, fit into my clothes, and be able to do active things. This is my time!

My Goals:
Short term goals:
*I want to be down 5 lbs (to 186) by Mother's Day.
*I want to lose 3-4 lbs a month. Every month.
*I want to by 170 by September when we go to San Diego.

Long term goals:
*Be 165 by the end of this year, despite the holidays. That's 25 lbs in 8 months. I can do it.

*Reach 140 lbs. I've never done it before, but I can.



My Program:
I am using SparkPeople (of course) to track my calories and other nutrition, track my fitness minutes, and stay motived.

Trying to get some strength training in every day to recover from pregnancy and a c-section, and tracking everything that goes in my mouth.



Personal Information:
I'm from Arizona, and have lived in Utah, Iowa, and Virginia. We're back in Arizona now and my husband is trying to open a chiropractic office. A little stressful, and lots of unknowns.
I'm very happily married and have 4 small children. I'm 5'3, and am starting (this) weight loss journey at 191. My highest (non-pregnant) weight was 197, and my before-kids weight was about 155-160. (ie I still needed to lose 20 lbs) I would be happy to be down in the 150's again, but to be really healthy, 140 is probably where I should be...

Other Information:
I love to digital scrapbook, edit family videos/wedding videos, read (fantasy, non-fiction, science fiction, etc.), and love to eat, (obviously) especially if I don't have to cook it. I'm working on just -liking- to eat.
