My darling little girl arrived April 14th 2012. She is now a month old and I'm all healed up from the C-Section. The doctor gave me the okay to start exercing.

So now the new journey begins of getting myself back into shape. Luckily I have plenty of motivation and opportunity to get up and get active. My puppy Malina will be my constant companion along this journey. Throughout the pregnancy she kept me moving with walks. Now we're ready to start running and maybe even rollerblading.

Since I am breastfeeding my diet will be my second priority to getting moving. I will be eating as healthy as possible but I won't be tracking calories just yet, i've never been so hungry before.

So here's to getting that bod back and having a blast while doing it.

I've decided to re-introduce myself. It been almost a year since my wedding day and layoff, so much has changed in my life and mostly for the better.
Yes I do wish I had a full time job in my field but at the same time I was not happy in my work so the layoff was a blessing. This past year has taught me a lot about my self. I've learned that I'm extreamly tough on my self in everything that I do. I've realized the things I want and the things I don't. Soon I'll be going back to school and starting an early childhood education program. I know that this will make me happy in my work but I'm a bit sad that I'm not making use of my other skills and degree.
This year has also showed me that I love exercise and that I need it to be part of routine so that I can be happy but I struggle to keep at it when my mood is down which ultimatly doesn't help.
I am in great shape already, even though I feel like I need to loose some more wieght I know I dont HAVE to. My goal is still to reach 115 lbs on the scale but my motivational goals are to keep working out each week and to find new forms of exercise. September 7th 2010

So here I am again. I'm 25, just got married and then shortly lost my job. All the hard work I put in last year, goals I actually achieved, went down the drain and I've put on 10+ pounds and lost all my strength and muscle.

My husband and I have yet to go on our honeymoon, which at this point is hard to tell when that will be. I'm hoping in April 2010. That gives me a few months to really shape things up.

Our honeymoon is booked for April. I'v been doing well with the p90X workout, muscles are getting stronger and I can definitly see more definition. I can't wait for the snow to melt because I LOVE working outdoors and I know I'll shed the pounds a bit more easily, until then I'm sticking with p90X.

I've graduated from university with a Degree in Geography and Geomatics. I worked for the canadian government fixing up the soil information service web page and organized soil information research, this is one of my dream jobs but unfortunately ended April 2010.

I've been working on my early childhood education diploma while working as a preschool program supervisor at a community center.

In 2012 I became the mother of a beautiful little girl.

    Jealous, I used to work off of Hunt Club, and one day I had my pups with me and stopped by. 1 of mine can go off leash, the other still likes to find the escape routes, but I let her drag her leash behind and she loved it.

    I tried running with my Jacks last summer, but they ended up effecting my gait too much, plus they would stop too much.
    The last 2 months, I've been Power walkign with them, and they love it! They have a nice little gallop the whole time, and I get an additional work out!

    Thanks for your comment on my SparkBlog! It's nice to hear from someone else who couldn't handle weighing once a week. I've had a few people question me like, "Why would that be a problem? It's only a number!" I guess they just don't know what it's like to let the scale control your mood. They don't know it's completely unintentional! Hope you're doing well!

    I agree with you completely! No drama, no judgements etc.

    I also agree with waiting for the spring before you consider a puppy, it will be a lot easier for housetraining!!!

    I have a couple GF's that I'm close with and feel I can be completely myself, but for the most part, I relate with guys more, not sure why (maybe having 3 brothers has something to do with it, HA HA0

    Hey there! Thanks for the blog comment! I appreciate it! It was an amazing experience!

    It took me a few weeks to start enjoying my running workouts. I always like to push myself to the max when I work out - so running was harder to adjust to because I had hold back initially to pace myself to get through the longer workouts.

    I am a naturally stubborn person - and if I hate something, I'll try to set a goal to overcome it to experience something different. I had wanted to share the experience of running a 5K with my grandpa, and that overcame any dislike I had initially for the sport.

    I didn't develop the "running bug" until about 7 weeks into the program - when all the doubt went away and I realized that I am truly strong enough to run for 20-25 mins straight. Its hard, but a really satisfying feeling!

    If you are curious about it - then just do it. Set yourself a 2 month goal. Do the C25k workouts for 8 weeks, and if you still don't enjoy it when its done - then you know you gave it your best! Let me know what you decide!!
