Tired of slope slump..

Former Marine turned dad with a desk job. I looked at myself in a holiday pic a few years ago and didn't recognize myself, since then I've been working towards getting back in shape with varied degrees of success.

I started doing adventure runs in 2012, running a Warrior Dash the first time and I've fallen in love with the sport (activity? Not sure it is it's own sport really..). I did the Tough Mudder in NJ as the last run in 2013.

My Goals:
- Live a long healthy life with my kids.

- Teach my kids healthy habits by example.

- Get into good enough shape to make a season Tough Mudder pass worth getting. :)

My Program:
Currently I am doing Insanity by Beachbody to get/stay in shape.

Due to my erratic work travel schedule I need something that I can do with no gear and do anywhere, Insanity seems to be doing the job.

I'm having issues recording Insanity workouts in the fitness tracker though which is a bit frustrating.

Personal Information:
40's family man. Two great kids and a supportive wife of my weird and at times seemingly random hobbies.

Other Information:
I am always looking for places to practice for adventure runs. Let me know if you have any ideas! It's hard to find walls etc to practice on :/
