And a New Day Dawns

What a blessing that God gives the dawn each day as a reminder that we can start new and afresh. The hard part is to be as forgiving with ourselves as God is with us. The first step is to take a first step and I suppose that this page is mine.
As a definite addict this is not just an ongoing battle but a long term war. Now I have started looking for the heavy duty arsenal and have found that God and my husband are the big guns and from there I have to learn to build my own weaponry. ...

I am blessed and cursed in turn in that I am a stay at home/homeschooling mom. I love everything about it except the constant access to food. Can't we just remove the fridge, and cupboards, and stove, errrr, guess that won't work. I need my kids to be like diet Rambo's to help me stay in full battle gear and always be ready for the sneakiness of the enemy.
Today is my new day.... Battle Up!

My program is to take care of myself mind, body and soul. To journal daily, including food & activity as well as remembering to take care of my spirit as well. Trying to stay on track with food and exercise and to be a priority without any guilt.

Kudos to you for joining us here on the Raw Foodies Team. This will be one of the best decisions you have ever made. Sparkers come here and join this great team for a multitude of reasons. They may be curious about the health benefits of Raw Food and join to learn all about eating Raw. Many join for the weight loss. Many join the Team for a Detox. There are a great many people who do the Raw Food Diet as a Detox but then they realize how alive they feel and how the pounds melted away so effortlessly they decide to continue to eat this way.
