Still Here After All These Years
After failing at it for 10 years, I lost 29 lb with SP in a couple of months & without suffering. I can't believe I found this program. Overeaters Anonymous helped me stop binges permanently, but lately I was eating like a thin person and doing little exercise. Natural propensity to put on, middle age and menopause didn't help. In the difficult path of maintaining and trying to get fitter, while dealing with chronic back and neck problems and disliking exercise. I'm a sparkie for life & will stick to my maintenance range no matter what. The above was written in 2007, so this year is my 5th sparkversary. I have put on 5 kg or 10lbs in the last couple of years, but it hasn't been all bad, I quit sugar in the process and was much happier and healthy for a while. Went back to sugar in 2012 and also smoked on and off all year, quitting again Dec 2012. I abandoned SP for a few months due to frustration with myself and I'm back trying to lose 10 pounds because I can't accept this weight, even though I'm going to turn 60 in a few weeks. Sounds easy? It's not.

My Goals:
I want to eat simply and healthy but not be deprived of everything. I also need to keep my 15 min power walk on the treadmill at least 4 times a week, pilates and water aerobics once a week, no excuses. Lasting goal: do something about loosing it each time I go 2kg (or 4lb) over my goal weight. Keep off sugar. FOREVER!
My Program:
Back to SP after a year off. Eating 1300 healthy cals and doing exercise at least 5 times a week. Keeping off sugar as a lifetime goal.
Personal Information:

Other Information:
Read a lot of literature, love non mainstream movies & totally addicted to my computer. My husband and I own a Boarding Cat Motel.
