ONE STEP BACK TWO STEPS FORWARD!

In '09 I started a weight program of my own on February 5th and by February 14th, 2009, I had lost 8 lbs. I acutually had a total of 125 lbs to lose so I'm going to lose it in small doses of 25-50lbs each until it is gone. I think I have been on every diet ever invented except those high priced ones that I won't mention for fear of incrimination. I had never heard of SparkPeople before February 14, 2009 but I joined SparkPeople (SP) that day as a display of love for myself because I liked what I read and saw and for the support that I saw that got results for those that were already members.
This is my new beginning to a healthier ME!!
So far this year, 2009, I have lost 25lbs, 8 before SP and 17 with SP. I am so thankful to my LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST for instilling in me the determination to just get it done. Everyday is a new challenge but I am rising to the challenge not falling in defeat.
I started tracking my weight loss on my Sparkpage so I would have a visual that I could access as long as I could get to a computer.

June 1, 2009-- 257( got to step it up to lose 4lbs by June 15)
June 8, 2009--(no change)
June 15, 2009--255 (ok, workg on 8lb loss to next goal)
June 22, 2009--253 (going in the right direction 1lb at a time)
June 29, 2009--256(gain probably due to starting strenth training)
Then one of my daughter got sick in June '09 and all my focus was on her. I lost all my weight loss focus and gradually gained and by December09 I had gained all but 20 lbs back and by March '10 I had gained another 10 lbs. So I am back to sqaure one almost but I promised myself that I will lose 30lbs. by end of June '10 which just about gets me back to where I was before my daughter got sick in 09.
The journey has been rough but I am going to make it.

My main goal is to succeed this time. 2010 is going be my year, my new beginning, my year for victory since 2009 was a bust. My success goals are:
LOVE the LORD, others, and myself.
My initial goal when I started my program Feb. 5th 2009 was and still is to lose 125 lbs. 40 lbs by June 30, 2010 and hopefully another 20 lbs by Sept 7th which is my birthday.
I plan to do this by:
eating 5 -8 veg. serving per day
30 min to 1 hr of exercise at least 4 /5 days per week, strength /tone 3 days per week
8 to 15 glasses of water per day
visit & blog at SP everyday
use the tools of SP everyday
"WORK IT OUT"
I actually began "my program" on Feb. 5th 2009 at 287 lbs. I had success in 2009 but because of family illness I allowed myself to fall weigh (play on word) back. I started with SP again March 4th 2010 with a desire to succeed. My plan is to eat and excercise for success.
I have been married for 36 years, have two beautiful daughters, my husband is overseer & pastor of New Testament Church of the Orthodox Apostolic Faith for 22 years and I assist him in his ministry and also work full time.
My favorite things are taking care of and being with my family and church family, reading, and working soduko puzzles.
