After kicking a 40 year smoking habit, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I gained 50 pounds and now am marginally diabetic. I don't want to be defined by illness. I want to gain control of my eating and exercise habits and leave the rest to God.

Hello darling! My name is Angela, and I am the new co-leader on the RA Fit Chicks Club Team. I hope you are able to stop by the team page and give us an update on how you are doing, or even participate in our challenges.

We are continuing our weekly weigh-in challenge. We weigh in every Wednesday. If Wednesday doesn't work for you, pick a day and just update us weekly. And if you'd rather not share your actual weight, you can post those pounds lost or gained (-2 pounds, +2 pounds).

We are also still Hiking Through Europe. This is a step equivalent exercise that you use to convert all your exercise into steps. You report your steps every Saturday and we calculate the total miles and then update you on how far the team has walked and in which city we end up, and a few facts about that city. We are currently in Finland.

I hope you can stop by and visit us soon. The more, the merrier! Happy October!
