Gotta do it!
No way around it - number on the scale keeps going up and I gotta stop it. I feel terrible about myself and it occupies way too much of my day. I'm capable of better!

My Goals:
My goal is obviously to lose weight, but I want to be able to shop for clothes without getting frustrated at not being able to find something attractive in my size, be healthier overall, and to set a good example for my hubby.
My Program:
Portion control, wiser choices overall, better options at restaurants, and more consistent workouts. Slow and steady, and no major deprivations.
Personal Information:
I'm in my mid 50's- retired from the Navy, but still working in the defense industry. My workout time is limited because of my commute, and I can't do cardio like I could in the past. I love walking - outdoors and on the treadmill and I strength train three days a week - not for long enough though. I'm a chronic hypoglycemic, so I have to watch my nutrition pretty close.
Other Information:
I'm like most people - I go through the usual ups and downs. I'm about half way to my goal, and it's getting harder!
