Me, Myself & I

I just turned the BIG 3 0 and I need to do something about my weight before its too late. Heart problems run on both sides of my family and my husbands, that means double trouble for my boys and that scares the crap out of me. So now I'm on a mission to lose at least 25 pounds!!! I was 170 in the summer of '07, and when I started SP I was about 150, so I have slowly lost the lbs, which is a good thing, kinda, wish I could lose more quickly but I know that its not good for the body to lose ...

I'm just glad that I'm on the road to being healthier, not only for me, but for my family too! I just get to a point where the scale doesnt move and I get frustrated. My main problem I think is that I'm not taking in enough calories, if I get at least 1300 I see the scale start to go down again, its just hard for me to eat 1300 calories. But now that I have found SP I was shocked to find I was eating less than 1000!! I thought I was eating healthy, I guess I wasnt eating healthy enough!

My Program:
I have been eating between 1200-1550 calories a day, sometimes I have been a little under, but not by much. I have been having trouble getting in the protein, and I need more fiber. I have been drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day, which WAS really hard for me because the last time I tried drinking all that water I gained the weight, but I have seemed to get that problem taken care of. I have been getting on the treadmill almost everyday, 2-3 miles at 3-4 mph, and now I have started doing Tae Bo everyother day. Weight training thru sp 3x a week.

Personal Information:
We live by the lake and love to go camping during the summer. We love going fishing. While the hubby is outta town, I like to take the kiddos to the movies, (without buying the popcorn) I love to volunteer at the kids school whenever I can.

Thanks for the SparkGoodie! Now that I have those tools I'd better get crackin' :)

Though with the freeze warnings I'm glad I didn't buy my plants last week!
