Losing it For Her
I am a mother of a 2 year old beautiful girl and raising my 15 year old nephew. We also just had a precious little man, who is growing faster than I will keep this updated. I have 4 nephews and 1 super cute neice. I love them all like crazy. I am trying to lose wieght for my daughter so she can see what a healthy life style is and never have to face the heart break I did growing up heavy. I am a mother of a 2 year old beautiful girl and raising my 15 year old nephew. We also just had a precious little man, who is growing faster than I will keep this updated. I have 4 nephews and 1 super cute neice. I love them all like crazy. I am trying to lose wieght for my daughter so she can see what a healthy life style is and never have to face the heart break I did growing up heavy. I honestly have gained 70 lbs since I left high school so I have a lot to go just to get down to that overweight high school kid. Everytime I look at my daughter I remember my goals and what I am working for.
I am a full time student, which keeps me at home with the kids mostly right now, sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse. My husband and I both need to lose weight and I am hoping to get him on board soon. I want us both to be healthy and grow into our golden years together healthy and strong.
A friend of mine, lost an incredible amount of weight with Weight Watchers but I tried it and gained a miserable 35 lbs. So now I am trying this and trying to lose 150 lbs.
I want to run my first 5K this year so I am starting training Wednesday.
WHY I RUN:
I run for...
* Any sort of goodie bag with a t-shirt inside
* Good causes!
* Strong legs!
* My kids
* Increased energy
* In case of a zombie attack :)
* The thrill of the race.
* The free stuff.
* The struggle and fight to finish stronger
*Jaxson (a little boy I raise money for on a regular basis.)

I am cutting my calories, changing my eating habits, becoming more mindful of what goes in my body. I am also doing the NEWO system, check it out it is great, I plan on changing it with all my DVD's, games, and workout stuff here if I hit plateaus.
These are my goals (yes I have 17 weight goals, they are not evenly spaced, they are important to me)
I am a mom to many, a mother to one precocious little 2 year old, she keeps me hoppin. I also just brought a precious little man into the world. He is growing faster than I will update this.
I am also raising a 15 yo nephew who I adore more than life itself. I want to lose weight so he is not embarrassed of me, like I was my mom. I want to show my daughter what a healthy life style and body image truly means. I do not want her to grow up heavy and suffer the indigity of being the fat girl. (Or in my case the fat girl with glasses)
I want to be sexy for my husband and be a role model for him to lose weight. I think it is amazing that he loves me for who I am, regardless of the scale, and I want us to grow old together and be active seniors.
I also want to do this for me, I want to feel good in my body, I want to get rid of the aches and pains, and I want to be healthy for once in my life. I want to be happy.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
This is my mantra when life gets hard either in the gym, the classroom or at home.
