My name is Crystal, 30 years old and I love everything outdoors. From 2006 to 2008, I was going through a rough patch and turned to laziness and food for support, going from a fit 135 to a very unhealthy 165. Since 2008, I've been trying to lose the weight unsuccessfully. I would work out and diet hardcore, just to give up after one mistake or setback. Missed a workout? Now I have to start all over. My name is Crystal, 30 years old and I love everything outdoors. Since 2008, I've been trying to lose the weight unsuccessfully. I would work out and diet hardcore, just to give up after one mistake or setback. Missed a workout? Now I have to start all over. Went out to dinner with friends and pigged out on appetizers and beer? There goes the diet. I used to think: "Now it's all over, I failed. Something definitely feels different this time around. Now, if I miss a workout, that just means I have to work harder the next day. Because I WILL work out the next day. If I eat unhealthy foods, I won't wait until the following Monday to start the diet over again, because it's not a diet. It's now a way of life. The very next meal will set the pace again on my way to healthy living. I am losing weight this time at a much slower pace than before, but see that as a positive. I am doing it right this time - building muscle, keeping true to the person I am: I am that girl that is always sore from working out, I am that girl that eats her veggies and fruits with pleasure, I am that girl in the great wild, leaving her tracks through uncharted forests, grasslands and mountains.

February 2012: 144.6 lbs
March 2012: 150 lbs (sux!)
July 2012: 157 lbs (I know, I know....)
