I am a 40+ female that lives in the Virgin Islands. I am determined to live a healthier, fitter lifestyle and make this a permanent change. (This was the statement I wrote when I first joined Spark). It still applies today but the good news is that it is over a year later and I am still sticking with it!!!

My Goals:
I want to be a happy, healthier, fitter version of the person I currently am. I want to live my best life!

Goals for June, 2008

*Do cardio at 6 days a week 3 days of which must be running
*Stay within calorie range (emphasis on fruits and veggies). Limit sugar and alcohol to once a week
*Strength train 3 days a week


My Program:
Health

A. Monitor calcium-diagnosis osteopenia
*will take daily calcium supplements and continue to do strength training
B. Monitor Cholesterol-was on the high end but have it under control now.
*continue exercising, limit fats/oils,fried foods
C. Make Healthy Food Choices
*2 fruits/4 veggies daily
*eat 5 small meals a day( on 7" plate)
*10-12 glasses water per day.

Fitness
A. Cardio 5 times per week for at least 45 minutes
B. Strength training at least 3x per week (if total body work-out)or 5x per week (if working different body parts)
C. Keep Active-watch less television.

HEY GIRL! HOW R YOU!! I have missed you and hope you are doing well. I am on a team called BLC10 and am on the second half of my lifestyle journey after being out for a while due to some medical conditions that popped up the March before this.......whew. TOOK some geting used to and accepting, and testing and moving on. So I am back.
Take care and drop in visit me sometime!
