Big girl in a small world

My name's Andrea and most of my short 24 year life span I've been battling my weight. I was always heavier but still pretty healthy, wasn't needing to shop a plus size section or anything. When I started taking bipolar meds a few years ago that all changed. I became a balloon. I've decided since I'm still young that I am going to take my life back. Stop being afraid, angry, mad at pictures my friends take of me, stop being ashamed and stop getting dirty looks.

The first picture is of me from quite a few years ago. There I wasn't skinny.. at least according to supermodels and I believed them... I was at least a good 80 lb lighter then and I let a good thing pass me by. I don't even have a single full body pic from then because I thought I was heavy. The last 2 pics are incredibly gross and unhealthy. They need to change ASAP. That is me the night of may, 29th 2009. I hope I can run, not walk, away from that image for the rest of my life.

My Goals:
I want to lose at least 100 lb. I remember about 8 years ago being 155 lb and went up since then. I want to make that self proud. I want to shoot for about 140. A weight I've NEVER been as an adult.

I want to be able to run. With my weight and heart complications I never really was able to. I want to be able to run a loop around the track and then work on trying for a full mile.

My Program:
Lately I've been trying to get to the local track and go a few laps around between 10 and 20 laps for about 2.5- 5 miles. I go to the park to bike 10 miles and do weight training in between.

Personal Information:
I'm from Pittsburgh, Pa. I have a love of animals and I've been vegetarian for about 3 years.

Other Information:
I'm a big fan of anything British.

My favorite TV show is Doctor Who.

I will listen to just about any kind of music.
