This time I WILL lose the weight!
In September of 2009 my husband, who was then 31 years old, was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure due to Polycystic Kidney Diease. In June of 2012 he started peritoneal dialysis because his kidney failure had reached stage 5 and he was really sick. This past December, I decided that I was going to fight hard to lose the weight so I can be tested to give my husband a kidney. We aren't sure I will even be allowed to donate at all, but we will never know for sure ...
We aren't sure I will even be allowed to donate at all, but we will never know for sure until I can be properly tested. So now I'm fighting harder than I ever had before to lose the weight. My first goal is to get down to 175. At that weight I will be able to start the testing process. My ultimate goal is 135. If I'm able to donate and I'm not a match for my husband, I hope that we can arrange a swap, so he can still get a kidney.

My Goals:
Weigh 175 by December 2, 2013 so I can start the process of being tested to donate a kidney to my husband. Weight 135 by June 2014 and remain that way forever.
