"Don't be mad at the results you don't get by the work you didn't do."

2013-New Intro!

I figured it was probably time to update my intro as I am almost at the end of my weight loss journey. Another 20 or so pounds and I'll be done losing and on to maintaining.

Not too much will change in my loss to maintanance transition, I think I've developed the right eating balance and exercise habits to keep me going for the long haul.

My advice to ...

My advice to anyone trying to lose weight and gain health is:

1. Commit to your journey-this is only about you and nobody else can do this for you.
2. Don't make excuses-if you ate it; you ate it...track it, forget it, get over it, keep it moving. You are the only one who feeds you and you are the only one who decides whether or not you move your body so cut the excuses and do it or don't.
3. Don't give up! One bad choice or even a week of bad choices, in the big picture will not end your whole journey, this is a lifestyle..so LIVE!

~Old Intro~

Do or Do Not. Either way, the time is going to pass. I do not want to look back at this same time next year and say "if only I had stuck with it, I'd be this much closer to..." This journey is really just a series of choices, do or do not. I say DO!

I had a "rude" awakening and have decided there are NO ACCEPTABLE EXCUSES for me use to justify or to continue to carry around this excess weight. I have been greedy and slothful and that is why I got FAT. I'm tired of talking about it, whining about it, wishing things were different, daydreaming about how my life would be different IF this or THAT!! NO MORE, I KNOW WHAT TO DO and I WILL CONTINUE TO DO IT!

Thank you so much for the comment on my Onederland blog, and just for being an awesome spark friend in general! 170ville sounds awesome doesn't it? I am in a place where my goal weight is a "I'll know when I see it", type of thing. But I'm thinking it'll be in 170ville, and if not then 160ville would be okay too... but 170ville sounds so much closer lol. ;)

emoticon Glad to read your "new introduction". You can get to that goal since you have determination. As a Capricorn, you know how to stay with and finish what you have started. The Capricorn child had a difficult life where she had to be "old" when young, but it pays off in later life, as she is sensible and gets her goals completed. Capricorn can have problems with headaches and with her knees. Learn to rest and relieve stress. emoticon
