I'm happily married. We have no children, but, we do have two Chinese Crested Hairless dogs.
I'm a family law attorney with my own practice. My biggest challenge right now is that it takes a lot of time to exercise and plan and prepare my diet meals every day. Because of that, I have less time left over to devote to work. Falling behind at work is stressful, and, I also feel stress from having to make enough money to cover my bills in fewer hours.
I like to exercise, mostly with my Wii Fit daily. I like the step workout on the Wii Fit and the yoga and strength-training exercises, and, I love the balance games on the Wii Fit. I also like walking, doing aerobics videos and aerobics with weights. My other hobbies include the Wii Fit (exercising), scrapbooking, reading, cooking, video games, knitting, and crochet.
I started dieting and exercising every day on July 30, 2009. My starting/highest weight was 226.4 pounds, and, I was a size 18. I'm 5'4.5" tall. I started taking alli (fat-blocking) pills early in August 2009. I am down to 187 pounds as of mid-January 2010. I'm close to my next weight loss goal which is to reach 183 pounds. I am down to a size 14. I have lost weight each and every single week since starting to diet and exercise again, and, that's a big motivation to me. Each week, I'm motivated to stick to my diet and exercise plan or go back on it if I slip up because I don't want to have a week where I don't lose weight . . . not yet anyway.
My next goal is to drop from the obese category down to overweight. I have spent almost the entire past 12 years in the obese category as far as BMI goes. I think I'm about 10 pounds away from not being obese anymore.
I was exercising every day with the Wii Fit or EA Sports Active or a workout tape, but, since the holidays 2009, I have been exercising a few times a week. I take alli (fat-blocking) pills with most meals. I have been eating more vegetables and fruits and lowered my consumption of foods high in saturated fat. I aim for 1600 to 1700 calories most days with about 50 grams of fat per day.
I was born and raised and went to college and law school in South Florida.
My hobbies are reading, cooking, scrapbooking, knitting, and crocheting.
