Writing My Story

I'm a writer and a college student. I spend my free time reading, writing, playing video games and wishing I'd spent more time on my homework assignments.

The Freshman Fifteen turned into the college fifty for me and I'm just looking forward to getting back to a healthy weight.

My Goals:
Big Goals

1) Be Maintaining 130 by April 7th 2018 - Wedding

2) Be 150 Pounds by May 01st 2015 - Graduation.

3) Be able to walk 10,000 steps everyday by October 30th 2014

4) Spend 2 hours outside everyday by August 12th 2014

5) Buy clothes that are smaller than the ones I currently have by December 6th 2014

6) Get 8 hours of sleep everyday

7) Strength train two times a week by August 12th 2014

8) Create reasons to
be healthy and active.



Mini Goals

1) Lose a pound a week

2) Do 30 minutes of exercise everyday

3) Watch portion sizes and stay inside calorie range

4) Spend 30 minutes outside a day

5) Walk at least 5,000 steps everyday

6) Strength Train once a week

7) Use pinterest for motivation and visualization

8) Monthly measure waist, hips and bust.


My Program:
Track Calories everyday

30 minutes of exercise everyday

Go for at least one walk everyday

Join my fiance in the gym 1-2 times a week

Reflect on my day via blog everyday

Use visuals to track my progress and motivate myself.

Use family and friends, and fellow sparkers, for accoutability, support, motivation and to do the same for them.

Thanks for your comment on my blog, Tourist Season. Yes, I think I have CHOSEN to look on the bright side of things.... one thing is sure: It's a choice! I might as well look for things to be grateful about, and it will save a lot of aggravation in the long run!

Hey thanks for the support on my blog, I'm going to keep going with the exercise and rest when needed!

Green juice is just homemade veggie juice made with predominantly greens. My own personal recipe is 2 punnets of spinach, cucumber, ginger, lemon, pineapple and some wheatgrass. There are a tonne of recipes out there as there are so many variations on it. Main thing is it turns out green lol!
