Starting Fresh
I'm back and ready to meet my goal of getting healthy. I joined a kickboxing gym on Oct 31, 2011 (thanks to encouragement from a rockin' friend). Since then, I have been consistently going to kickboxing four times a week and boot camp once a week. I'll be adding some additional classes soon (sparring, etc). I think I've finally found something that will be part of my life-long lifestyle. They're an amazing group of people that go and are very supportive and ...

I think I've finally found something that will be part of my life-long lifestyle. They're an amazing group of people that go and are very supportive and encouraging. I always thought I would have to wait until I was in shape and much thinner before I joined - but thanks to my friend and this great group of people - I feel totally welcomed and am loving it.

My Goals:
Big Picture: Get Healthy - that's what it all boils down to.... Short Term Goals: 25 pushups (can do 15 as of 1/21) Advance to yellow belt (must be able to meet above goal - I refuse to do "girly" pushups)
My Program:
Entering EVERYTHING I eat into my food diary. Kickboxing 4-5x/week (incorporates strength training)

In case my username didn't give it away - I'm a huge Dave Matthews Band fan. I love live music - pretty much any type. I work for a non-profit as the Manager of Volunteer Services.
