I am doing other exercise. I actually alternate the Shred with the C25K program, so I'm not exactly following it 30 days straight.
I am seeing results come, they would probably come faster if I could clean up my eating habits!!
On the Jillian Michael team page I took heart because of a thread on Week 2, Everyone seems to agree it is crazy hard, and someone said they find it the hardest of the 3 weeks. So I know I'm in good company lol. Keep at it!!
Definitely get yourself away from weighin in multiple times a day. It will only cause tears. However, if you need to weigh in daily, just make sure its at the same time! (And after the same amount of meals - ie: every day right before lunch or something). Because its totally normal to flux. Some do more than others, and you seemed to be blessed with teh large flux like me! :) I always say the second I take a bite, I gain 5 lbs, and it's pretty weird!!
WAY TO GO on only stopping once today on Jillian! On day five and you've already come so far - super impressive! I haven't ever tried Jillians. I should. I seriously need to work on fitness!
"My scale has been fluctuating like crazy day to day, have you had that problem?? " OH YES. That is why I do NOT weigh in daily. At most twice a week. At MOST. Usually I try for just once. And ALWAYS at the same time of the day, before eating, naked! Haha. My body will flux more than 5 pounds in a day (from wheN I wake up to when I go to bed). I can NOT weigh in during the day or I feel devastated. Thats one thing I'd definitely recommend: not weighing in daily. I believe it hinders weight loss.
As far as what I'm doing: about 90% nutrition. My biggest thing is snacking as well. Ohhhhh I love chocolate (to a very unhealthy degree). So, I schedule out my meals a week in advance (usually ALL of them, including snacks) and stick to it as close as possible. Sure, things come up, but I'm generally on the right track.
I stink with fitness. I've really got to work on that :/
