Time for change

I'm back!! Now I need to get the ball rolling to become healthy and thinner. I want to be in better shape than I was a year ago before I gained some of this weight.

I absolutely love sweets so it's a huge challenge for me to give up desserts. This is one of the biggest challenges I have to face; probably harder than kicking the bad habit of smoking. Help :-/

My Goals:
My goal is to weigh under 130 in a few months.

I'd like to have a lower body fat percentage so I am aiming for 5% less.

Complete my third Half Marathon (in Oct) at a faster pace. goal: 2:30 or better

My Program:
I'm trying to walk or jog at least 3 times a week, minimum total of 12 miles a week.

I really enjoy classes such as kickboxing, zumba, bootcamp and 24 set, so I try to do 3 hours worth of classes in a week at the gym.


Personal Information:
I am from central CA and now residing in the bay area. I love to spend time with family, friends and loved ones. I like to go out dancing when I have the chance. I also like taking pictures of everything and scrapbooking.

Other Information:
"Take it a day at at time".

I've fallen off the bandwagon for a while and now it's time to take control and not fall off again!

I completed my first half marathon in November 2009. I finished slowly but surely :)

hello. it's kind of nice seeing a fella filipina (i hope i'm not mistaken, but yeah) on this site. i guess it gives me more hope and confidence that there is no ideal color or shape to beauty. and i know that you can probably relate to the pitfalls of our culture's dishes (sooo much rice, even in the desserts, plus a lot of salt).

hey cat :D thanks for your comment!! yes i know he is -- and i turned all the negative energy he blew towards me into something that i hope will be blooming with postitive for the next year :D i just cant wait now to loose weight and look and feel better :D:D and i count in kilos not pounds!! and in kilos 106 is not really thin at all!! i still have a long way to go...but one day at a time i am doing this :D
