Heard your question on our team page and thought I would share some ideas....do like Holly did and promise yourself tickets to an event that you would not ordinarily go to except if you lost the goal weight.........Do a charm bracelet which seems to be in now and add a charm each time you make goal.........I know I saw an erring I wanted but would not buy it until I made goal.......Promise yourself an article of clothes that is special and reward yourself when your there,.....Promise yourself a new pair of jeans in a size smaller or buy them already and keep them out on hanger and really work toward getting into the.....what a good feeling that can be.
In my first post I pretty much just talked about why I decided to start losing weight. I started the blog literally the very first day of my journey, so it seemed natural to talk about why I was starting my journey. I used the "About" page of my blog to kind of tell my weight story, but you could do that in your first entry if you want. You could also link to your blog here on SparkPeople if you want your new blog to be a continuation of your previous posts.
Hm...yeah, I guess it depends on if you feel the need to introduce yourself/the blog at all, or if that will be done on some kind of About page. On my second entry of the blog, I jumped right into using it as I had planned to. (I originally used the blog as a way to post about every single positive ((and negative!)) choice I made throughout the day. After awhile I stopped doing that because many of the choices had become habit, but I found that it really helped to have that accountability at first). So you can always just jump right in and write a normal post as though you've had the blog for ages. Although if you do that, I would advise having an About page so readers can get to know you more quickly than having to wait until you've got a lot of history on the blog.
I dunno, I feel like I'm saying the same thing over and over again, lol. I hope that helps at least a little?
